His career journey into the world of mechanical engineering began as an Industrial Trainee Attaché at Lenoil Petroleum and Petrochemicals Company Limited in Isolo, Lagos. His dedication, technical aptitude, and commitment to excellence quickly earned him the role of Maintenance Officer, where he oversaw critical equipment upkeep, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
In 2007, Babalola Philip Akin transitioned to Fudia Petrochem Limited, Isolo, Lagos, where he assumed the role of Blending Supervisor cum Maintenance Officer. Here, he played a multifaceted role, managing both the blending process and the maintenance of equipment. His expertise in repair works and the efficient transfer of base oils significantly contributed to the company’s operational efficiency.
In 2011, Babalola joined ASCON Oil Lube Plant, Magboro, Ogun State, as the Blending Plant Supervisor. His responsibilities included overseeing the entire blending process, ensuring product quality, and maintaining rigorous safety standards. His expertise in plant operations and his commitment to quality control made a substantial impact on the organization’s production capabilities.
Babalola Philip Akin’s journey culminated in his appointment to the management team of Mate Energy Industries Limited, where he serves as the Head of Production and Maintenance. In this pivotal role, he leads and directs the production team, orchestrating efficient operations and quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality lubricants. Simultaneously, he oversees the maintenance of critical machinery and infrastructure to guarantee uninterrupted production.
